Description
The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized an educational visit to the Physiotherapy Department to provide students with practical exposure to therapeutic equipment such as TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and other diathermy machines. During the session, faculty members from the physiotherapy department demonstrated the working principles, applications, and safety measures of these electrotherapy devices. Students gained hands-on experience in operating TENS units and short-wave diathermy equipment used for pain management and muscle stimulation. Total 37 students were present in the visit.
