INSA and GUJCOST, DST sponsored Two Days National Workshop on “Patenting in Indian Regime & Invention Disclosures” was organized by Ganpat University - Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research on 10th and 11th March, 2022. Total 112 participants were registered and participated successfully in the workshop. In the inauguration function Dr. S. S. Pancholi, Principal of the college welcomed and introduced the guests. Dr. Paresh. U. Patel, Coordinator of the workshop explained the overview of the two days workshop. Dr. Kaushik Banerjee, GM & Head, IP Department, Zydus Research Centre, Cadila Healthcare Ltd was present as chief guest of the inaugural function and motivates all the participants and explains the overview of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and its importance in research, business and in commercial market with systematic examples. Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro Chancellor and Director General, Ganpat University extended his blessing for the success of the workshop. Total 05 eminent resource persons delivered their speech in the workshop with patent software demonstration and live practical training on patent searching. Dr. Kalpesh N. Patel, Assistant professor, Faculty of Pharmacy delivered vote of thanks.
