Workshop on the Power of a Winning Mindset and Effective Stress Management
As part of its Industry Internship Lecture Series, Ganpat University - Centre for Management Studies and Research (CMSR) hosted an enriching workshop titled "The Power of a Winning Mindset and Effective Stress Management" on September 21st, 2024. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abhinav Samant, Deputy General Manager of Learning and Development at Shalby Ltd., an expert with extensive experience in leadership training and professional development. The event was designed to equip students with essential tools for developing a strong, resilient mindset and managing stress effectively in their personal and professional lives.
Objectives of the Workshop
The primary goals of the workshop were:
- To introduce students to the concept of a winning mindset and its impact on personal and professional success.
- To teach practical techniques for stress management and mental well-being.
- To enhance students' readiness for the challenges faced during internships and subsequent professional journeys.

Session 1 (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM): Introduction to the Winning Mindset
- Mr. Abhinav Samant commenced the session by defining the characteristics of a winning mindset, emphasizing the importance of resilience, goal-setting, and positive thinking.

Lunch Break (2:30 PM – 3:00 PM)
Session 3 (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Effective Stress Management Strategies
- This session addressed the causes and types of stress that students and professionals commonly face.
- Mr. Samant introduced methods for managing stress, such as mindfulness practices, time management techniques, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Students participated in guided breathing and mindfulness exercises to experience the calming effects of these practices.
Session 4 (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Interactive Activities and Q&A
