Event Overview
A.M. Patel Institute of Computer Studies (AMPICS), Ganpat University, organized a One Day Workshop on “The Future of Cloud & AI: From AWS Fundamentals to Generative AI Applications” on 30 January 2026 at 09:30 AM onwards. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Student Development Cell and AWS User Group Ahmedabad with the objective of exposing students to next-generation technologies transforming the global IT landscape.
Distinguished Speakers
The workshop featured two eminent industry experts:
- Mr. Aric Pandya, AWS Expert, AI & Cybersecurity Researcher at Bugcrowd, and Co-organizer at AWSUGAHM, delivered an insightful session on cloud fundamentals and the practical adoption of Amazon Web Services.
- Mr. Ram Thaker, Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud, AI, and MLOps at Scania AB (Volkswagen / Traton Group), Sweden, who enlightened students on the expanding role of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in building intelligent and scalable digital solutions.
Purpose of the Workshop
The primary purpose of the workshop was to familiarize students with cutting-edge advancements in Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence while encouraging them to develop industry-relevant skills.
