Introduction
“Hack The Query – Collegiate SQL Cup” is a technical competition designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and problem-solving skills in Structured Query Language (SQL). The competition provides a platform for students to demonstrate their ability to analyze database problems, write efficient queries, and optimize solutions in real-world scenarios. In today’s data-driven world, database management and data analysis skills are essential for careers in software development, data analytics, and information technology. This competition encourages students to think logically, improve query writing skills, and gain exposure to industry-level database challenges.

- Rules and Guidelines
- The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Participants must solve SQL queries within the given time limit.
- Use of internet, mobile phones, or external help is strictly prohibited unless permitted by organizers.
- Queries must be written individually unless the event is specified as team-based.
- Any form of malpractice or copying will lead to disqualification.
- Participants must follow the database schema provided at the beginning of the competition.
- Queries should produce correct output as specified in the question.
- Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
- Evaluation Criteria
The websites were evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:
- Table creation and record (20%)
- Proper Constraints (20%)
- Problem solving SQL command and result (60%)
