Ganpat University - U. V. Patel College of Engineering (GUNI-UVPCE) is situated in Ganpat Vidyanagar campus. Established in September 1997, it provides high-quality education and training to students from diverse backgrounds. UVPCE is a constituent college of Ganpat University and is committed to preparing talented engineers to meet the needs of industries in Gujarat and worldwide.
Spread over 25 acres within Ganpat Vidyanagar, UVPCE features six modern buildings, classrooms, seminar halls, drawing halls, workshops, a library, departmental labs, and multiple computer labs with 1 Gbps internet and satellite-linked education centers. This advanced infrastructure supports learning, research, and skill development effectively.
UVPCE offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. The institute maintains strong industry ties to facilitate internships, placements, and R&D collaborations. Students also benefit from incubation centers and startup initiatives, providing hands-on training and innovation opportunities.
National Strategy on Additive Manufacturing (NSAM) is an initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, aimed at positioning India as a global hub for Additive Manufacturing (AM) by fostering innovation, research, and skill development.
Launched in February 2022, NSAM focuses on accelerating research, development, and deployment of AM technologies across the country. It promotes design-led manufacturing to ensure industry readiness, competitiveness, and self-reliance in strategic sectors.
Under this initiative, Ganpat University has been designated as the National Additive Manufacturing Centre West (NAMCW). The centre acts as a regional hub to enhance adoption of AM technologies across six western states—Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
NAMCW emphasizes skill development, innovation, industry-academia collaboration, and hands-on training using advanced infrastructure in digital design and additive manufacturing technologies.
The International Conference on Engineering Design, Materials and Advanced Manufacturing (ICEDMAM-2026) is a premier global platform dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange in the fields of engineering design, materials science, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
