About Faculty of Engineering & Technology

Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) is amongst the first five self-financed engineering colleges in State of Gujarat established in 1997. The Institute offers multidisciplinary diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. It known for offering niche programmes like Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Petro Chemical Engineering. Also, pioneered in incepting industry linked programs B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in  Cloud based Application, Cyber Security, Big Data Analytics in association with IBM  and M.Tech VLSI in association with Einfochips. Its   the only institution offering Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) approved A1 accredited B.Tech Marine Engineering and allied certificate programmes. More than 5000 students studying representing 29 states of India and 5+ countries bringing the social and cultural diversity of our campuses, enriching the research, learning environment and helping home students to develop relevant skills. 

There are around 200 + faculty members in FoET. The average teaching experience of the faculty members is ranging  7-20 years. The faculty also includes allied facilities and Centres of Excellence (CoE)  of   Ganpat University- Einfochips, Bosch-Rexroth Centre for Automation Technology (Hydraulics & Pneumatics system, PLC & Mechatronics) , Bosch Artisan Centre for Power tools in Electrical, Micro Focus Software University center for Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning  and EC-Council University Center for Cyber Security Technologies. Institutional membership and or chapter of IEEE, CSI, ISTE for helps in community building and professional development.

Since inception, the faculty has been known for the standard of education and the quality of students. As a result of an active interface with the industry, it has been able to provide a continuous and consistent supply of industry-ready professionals. The placement record of the faculty is exemplary and it prides itself with a healthy track record. Along with these centres, students are also given the opportunity to work in internationally reputed research organisations like BISAG , IPR at Gandhinagar, SAC-ISRO at Ahmedabad, PRL at Ahmedabad and IITs at large. 

Application Process

1. Candidate has to fill up the branch choices, at the time of filling up the application form, online on the website (https://admission.ganpatuniversity.ac.in/). 
2. The provisional admission shall be offered through online mode as per the schedule.
3. Offer of admission shall be made on the basis of merit, preference and availability of the seats. 
4. The candidate can freeze the admission for a branch offered to him upon payment of the fees as prescribed, subsequent to which such a candidate will not be eligible for an offer of admission in any other branch. 
5. The candidate can accept the branch offered to him upon payment of the fees as prescribed and can request admission in a branch of his higher preference on merit, during subsequent admission round/s if any.
6. In case of rejection or no action for the offered branch, the candidate will not be eligible also for any further admission round.
7. The provisional admission will be confirmed only after verification of the original documents, personal and academic credentials of the candidates viz. identity, age, and academic qualifications.
8. It shall not be obligatory to give admission to a candidate if he fails to secure the admission online as prescribed.
9. No changes in branch preference shall be possible after the last date of submission of the online application. 

The University reserves rights to hold the admission process also by calling the candidates on merit on the University Campus.
