Description
- Establishing an authoritative platform for informed dialogue on the evolving practice, structure, and finer nuances of arbitration and mediation as critical instruments of dispute resolution in commercial and cross-border contexts.
- Identifying key challenges that impede the efficiency, enforceability, and credibility of ADR mechanisms and to deliberate on pragmatic reforms spanning legislative frameworks, institutional processes, capacity-building, technological integration, and procedural innovation.
- Envisaging to undertake a comparative examination of India’s ADR ecosystem alongside prominent global hubs with a view to understanding best practices and assessing India’s positioning in the international dispute-resolution landscape.
- Highlighting the broader strategic significance of ADR in fostering investor confidence, reducing commercial and sovereign conflict, and contributing to global stability and rule-of-law ecosystems
- Exploring advanced and emerging areas including maritime arbitration, green and sustainability-linked dispute resolution, and sector-specific mechanisms across energy, infrastructure, and trade.
