Students are required to follow the guidelines and protocol strictly as under.
·All students must carry and wear their University ID Cards for entry and exit. Entry without ID will not be permitted under any circumstances.
·Students must maintain decorum, cultural dignity, and respectful conduct throughout the celebration.
·Students must cooperate with security checks at the gates.
·Carrying or consuming alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or any intoxicants is strictly prohibited.
·Any suspicious activity, unattended bag, or emergency must be immediately reported to security staff/volunteers.
·Any act of misconduct, misbehavior, or violation of rules will invite strict disciplinary action, including cancellation of participation.
·A First Aid and Medical Help Desk will be available at the venue.
·Strictly follow the instructions of faculty coordinators, volunteers, and security personnel for smooth crowd management
·Students with Drone cameras, or live streaming without prior approval are prohibited.
·Students are advised not to bring expensive jewelry, gadgets, or large sums of money. The University will not be responsible for loss of valuables.
Entry / Exit and Parking Protocol:
·Students must use only the designated entry and exit gates as instructed.
·No re-entry will be permitted once a student exits the celebration venue.
·All existing GUNI students shall enter only through the Front Main Gate (Rear Gate closed) and park their vehicles at Vishwa Hostel premises (opposite the Main Gate).
·All staff shall enter through the Front Main Gate and park their vehicles either at the Bus Parking Area or in front of the MBA Building.
·All outside buses shall be parked on the road behind BSPP (Marine Building to MBA Building), on one side of the road only.
·The sides of the University Building are reserved exclusively for VVIP Guests and their support services, including Police, Fire, and Ambulance.
·Special parking arrangements for GUNI Authorities and Emergency Services have been made at the Sports Complex.
·All University buses not in use shall be parked at the Ground near the Bus Parking Area, as the Bus Parking space will be utilized for staff vehicles.
·Contractors may proceed directly to their designated destinations.
·Students, staff, and faculty residing on campus are requested to park their vehicles at their residences only.
Security Protocol:
·All students must carry and wear their University ID Cards for entry and exit. Entry without ID will not be permitted under any circumstances.
·In case of non-issuance of ID cards, students must contact their concerned Institute Admin or hostel rector/mentor well in advance for necessary arrangements.
·Friends and family members of students and outsiders will not be allowed to participate in the Navratri celebrations.
·Security personnel and faculty volunteers are authorized to enforce the protocols strictly.
Attire and Celebration Timings:
·Students and staff are expected to attend in appropriate traditional attire suitable for Navratri.
·Celebration protocols and security arrangements will be strictly applicable from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the scheduled days.
Mess Timings for Hostellers
·Dinner timings for hostellers will be 6.00 pm onwards.
·Hostel rectors and mess staff will ensure smooth food arrangements.
Transport & Accommodation
- University will provide transport facilities from Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar, Palanpur, and Mehsana routes only for students and staff. Students from other routes are requested to make their own transport arrangements or can stay at Hostel facility with prior approval from competent authority.
- Any requirement of hostel accommodation for students during the event must be requested in advance through the concerned Principal for prior approval.
College-wise Celebration Schedule
·The Navratri celebration will be organized college-wise on different days as per the schedule.
·Only students of the scheduled college(s) for that day will be permitted to participate.
·Students from other colleges/hostels will not be allowed entry on days not assigned to them.
All the Principals/Heads of constituent institutes are informed to bring this circular to the notice of all staff and students.
