Good Morning to everyone here and Good Evening to the
dignitaries who have joined from the US. Season’s best greetings
to one and all. Respected Shri Ganpatbhai Patel, Dada,
honourable Patron-in-Chief & President, Ganpat University.
Doctor Amit Prashant Officiating Director, IIT, Gandhinagar, Dr.
Mahendra Sharma, Pro-Chancellor & Director General, Ganpat
University. I must say here that Dr. Sharma talked so much and so
eloquently that I am at a loss as to what I should say next.
Mr. Daniel Montplaisir, Vice President for the University
Advancement, Cal Poly Pomona, California. Mr. Ravi Prakash
Gupta, Corporate Development Officer, the Indian Institute of
Banking and Finance. CS Shri Chetan Patel, Central Council
Member, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Distinguished members on the dais, eminent members of the
gathering. All the ladies and gentlemen who have joined online
and offline. Friends from the Electronics and Trend Media.
Students, faculty members, directors, and all others who have
associated with university in one way or another.
It is indeed a matter of immense delight. A matter of great honour
and privilege to be amongst all of you on the occasion of 17th
Foundation Day of Ganpat University. On the outset, I must
congratulate the organisers for having organised a wonderful
program. And I really feel I happen to be the loser in the sense that
I could have made it in person. But somehow the type of
multifarious engagements that one is settled with, I could not
move out of Gandhinagar. So, my apologies but I am pretty much
happy and satisfied that I could be here amongst all of you on the
virtual platform.
When we talk about the celebration of Foundation Day, I am
reminded of the words of honourable Prime Minister Shri
Narendra Modi who was here sometime back and he was
exhorting all of us to celebrate Foundation days of universities,
colleges, villages, and other institutions. It happens to be
