that it will propel even further, establishing improved models for emulation. While outright
copying may not be advisable in all contexts, in matters of excellence and best practices, it is
indeed worthwhile to adopt and replicate successful approaches.
Even in challenging weather, the saying goes, 'Let all come from all directions.' Similarly, I am
confident that the institutional models crafted by Ganpat University are worth emulating by
educational institutions nationwide. Their emphasis on skill development through hands-on
training and the creation of mental models within students is particularly noteworthy.
Addressing the perennial challenge of the industry-academia gap, Ganpat University is
reshaping the paradigm by integrating industry into academia. This involves immersing
students in the industrial ecosystem, a formidable task given the economic concerns that
often deter industry involvement in academic institutions. The management team at Ganpat
University demonstrates unique strength in establishing a win-win platform that benefits
both the industry and academia, fostering collaboration in areas of common interest.
I would like to express my appreciation for Ganpat University, not only for achieving a 5-star
rating in the institutional rating framework of the Gujarat State but also for the remarkable
student-faculty ratio. Serving 18,000 students with a faculty team of 1,400 results in an
impressive ratio of approximately 1:13, surpassing the anticipated average of 1:20. While
most universities aim for a ratio of 1:20, many end up with ratios as high as 1:30-35.
Ganpat University stands out by setting a world-class standard with its efficient student-
faculty ratio. This achievement is made possible by the collective dedication of everyone
involved, from Dada to each staff member, including support staff. The university's
commitment to service is evident in its pursuit of excellence, ensuring the right faculty is in
place. In contrast to the challenge faced by many institutions in acquiring top-tier talent,
Ganpat University has successfully assembled a team of good assistant professors, deans,
registrars, controllers of examination, and other essential roles, showcasing a commitment
