“Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honour to introduce our
distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Sunilbhai Talati, Pro Vice-
Chancellor and Director General, alongside the esteemed
members of the Board of Governors. Also present on the stage
are the faculty members, the management team of Ganpat
University, and, of course, my dear students.
This is a significant occasion for several reasons. Firstly, it marks
the 18th Foundation Day of our University, a source of great pride
for the Mehsana district, as we have successfully established a
world-class institution in this region. It is equally commendable
for the state of Gujarat that the visionary idea of creating an
institution comparable to the likes of Stanford, Harvard, and
Oxford within our state is rapidly becoming a reality under Dada's
leadership.
We take pride in the diverse and exemplary activities undertaken
by the University, setting benchmarks that can serve as best
practices not only within Gujarat but also beyond our state's
borders. The University's focus on areas such as additive
manufacturing, proposed projects, and establishing a Center of
Excellence in Artificial Intelligence reflects its commitment to
innovation and excellence.
Notably, the University's unique 5G test bed has received special
recognition from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India,
underscoring the institution's capabilities, vision, and execution
capacity. The State Government of Gujarat has played a crucial
role in supporting the University, recognizing its vital contribution
to nurturing and delivering talented, skilled, and value-oriented
youth to our society. Remember, impacting one person begins
with knowing oneself.
Swami Vivekananda once emphasised the importance of self-
awareness, asserting that understanding oneself is the key to
making a meaningful impact. He suggested that impacting a
thousand people could begin with becoming a counsellor, and
influencing ten thousand could involve taking on the role of a
