If we want to establish our identity, we have a lot of treasure. We, as teachers, have to work
like the first counselor on the earth Lord Shri Krishna to develop the attitude, nurture the skill
and enhance the knowledge our youth, our boys, girls and our researchers.
Knowledge is not only information; it is applied information coupled and enriched by
experience in the neighbourhood of wisdom. Wisdom is much more wider term than
knowledge. So to become wise, we teach our youth three things. One to be ready for
challenges and to have fire in their lives, second we must teach them their identity and make
them "glocal" (global+local). The student must be made aware about the local culture and
Heritage at the same time being a global citizen. You should know the contextual reality of
your existence.
The third thing is that one must know what the technologies available are and what your
mindset is. You may know your self- identify, your potential but you should also know what is
your mindset? How you want to
perform in life that is very
important. The last thing is that
above all your fortune will help you
in achieving your goal.
The yout h should also be
interested in literature and
reading. We should be interested
in what is being written and
researched in our surroundings.
The word "Education' comes from
the word 'Edo' which means to
fetch. Thus, this reading helps in
learning new things. Two things
are very harmful in our life that is
Ego and Professional Jealousy.
B u t o n e i s k n o w n b y t h e
knowledge only.
We must work on our Ego and professional Jealousy to become a very selfless and nice
person.
The last quality that defines a youth is humbleness. We should be polite and humble, the faith
gives us humbleness. More and more freedom gives you more and more responsibility. We
have to create an atmosphere where our students can make decision on their own. We have
to empower our children in such a way that they choose to behave in a positive way.
My father said that you should be proficient in English so that nobody in the world feels that
you are inferior. At the same time you should be proud of our origin and our real culture.
If we have an element of faith in ourselves, we can do everything in this world.
