own family if you can contribute that there should be some kind of enlighten selfishness or
unselfishness. So, Swami Vivekananda's lifestyle program which we write, we use
deliberately avoided the use of philosophical words.
Only a few acknowledged Swamiji’s greatness. It wasn't until he travelled to America and
delivered a speech in Chicago that people finally recognized his worth. However, despite
these realizations, we still maintain a mindset that tends to undervalue domestic
achievements. Foreign degrees and education gain significance only when they return to our
homeland. It is essential for us to question why we cannot establish our own standards,
create our educational centres, and build world-class universities. Swami Vivekananda's
vision was to raise awareness among people for three years, emphasizing the need for self-
reliance and the development of our own educational institutions.
These stories remind us that the quest for a better life often goes beyond material comfort. It
is about dignity, respect, and the opportunity to be recognized for one's skills and
contributions. As we contemplate these narratives, let us strive for a world where everyone,
regardless of their origin, is treated with fairness, equality, and the recognition they rightfully
deserve.
Thank you.
