15 CONVOCATION
Ganpat University will make a significant contribution to the efforts of the
Government in this direction by getting the name Sawai and Gaurav in the courses of
Agriculture from the name it has got in technical education. .
I am very much happy to know the working and progress of KVK of Ganpat
University which has been meeting the needs of farmers of our Mehsana district
since the year 2005 providing need based short term and long term training courses
both on campus and off campus for scientific farming through supervised
Agricultural-projects. It also enables rural women by providing training facilities for
home making and nutrition education as well as home draft and cottage industries. I
was equally happy when I came to know that Ganpat University is initiating a new
course on Agricultural Science and Research under the umbrella of IASR. (Institute
of Agricultural Science and Research). It’s a great moment of my proud privilege to
know that a Glorious citizen of North Gujarat and USA based donor Smt. KANTABEN
KASHIRAMDAS PATEL has announced to donate Rs. 5 Crore for the establishment
of the same institute. It is a great moment of pride for me to know that they have
announced a donation of 5 crore. I salute the donor and her family. The donor, her
family and Ganapatbhai even while living in the United States, keep on thinking of
their contribution to the development of the country. And I acknowledge that such
efforts by all of you increase our enthusiasm to work in the government as well.
As I am presently working under the proficient leadership of our visionary Prime
Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, and I know for sure that our Prime Minister has
some special interest and affection for the further progress of Ganpat University.
When he thinks of the education sector of our Gujarat, he always mentions the
exemplary progress of this university. We are fortunate that the present Prime
Minister of our country is from one of us. I still remember that he has always
considered it his top priority when something is related to Ganpat University when
we happen to talk. . I am very happy that you are all-together striving very hard to
land this university at the prime pinnacle of success. Let me know how I can be
helpful to you…? Please do not hesitate to approach my office gentlemen for any help
from my departments for the development of IASR. I wish you best luck for the
same.

It’s my deep feeling to witness this very stunning event of the 15th Convocation of
this prestigious University which is a landmark day in itself in your life. Having stayed
for many years here on this academic premise, as you are leaving this wonderful
academic environment, for further accomplishment of your dreams and aspirations,
a blend of emotional flow and a wave of excitement and a fresh energy would be
brimming in your minds and hearts. Indian culture has this very tradition for
centuries together, where, I have happened to read that Gurus used to host
