International Exposure Program at Skyline University, UAE
The Centre for Entrepreneurship facilitated an International
Bootcamp at Skyline University College, Sharjah, running
from March 28th to April 2nd, 2022. Their pivotal role in
coordinating and organizing the entire program was
instrumental. Fourteen students, accompanied by two
faculty members, participated in the Bootcamp. The
program comprised diverse Business and IT lectures
delivered by faculty members from Skyline University and
freelance trainers. It also involved case studies,
discussions, Team Building Activities, Industry visits, and
excursion activities exploring famous UAE sights.

SEMINAR ON OPPORTUNITIES & SUPPORT FOR SMEs
The Centre for Entrepreneurship organized the Seminar on Entrepreneurship:
Opportunities & Support, focusing on Scaling up Opportunities for SMEs, held on
July 19, 2022, Tuesday, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Credit Society, Dediyasan GIDC.
The seminar was organized in association with DIC-Mehsana and supported by
MSME-Government of Gujarat and Dediyasan Industries Estate Association.

Mr. D R Parmar, Jt. Commissioner Industries-Startups, Govt of Gujarat, inaugurated
the seminar along with Mr. T.K. Solanki, Asst. Director MSME, and Mr. G K Patel,
President Mehsana GIDC. Officials from District Industries Centre Mehsana,
University Officials - Dr. Saurabh Dave, Prof Remi Mitra, Dr. Sourabh Chaturvedi, Dr.
Kishore Barad, and Prof Ravindra Prajapati were also present. The seminar
primarily focused on the necessity of formal education to empower aspiring
entrepreneurs and SME owners in creating high-impact ventures. Additionally,
discussions centered on Gujarat's startup ecosystem, investment opportunities,
and the key incentives provided under the Scheme of Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020.
A total of 26 SME Owners actively participated in the seminar. This session
significantly contributed to the budding entrepreneurial ecosystem at Ganpat
University, motivating attendees to outline actionable plans towards realizing their
Startup/Enterprise dreams.
