Avirat is the annual student fest of FADP, Ganpat University.
Festival was conducted on 5th to 7th May, 2022. The
students displayed their academic work of the year which is
called students exhibition. Along with this, the institute also
conducted different kinds of lecture series and workshops
by the experts of the particular fields. The guest lecture Student Exhibition
series in which experts talked on their expertise or
specialization topic. Even, the GUNI students organized the
Cultural Events on the campus.

Preparation for the Festival
The Annual Student Academic Exhibition is held during the Avirat festival every year. Students showcase their work from
various subjects such as Design Studios and Construction Techniques, as well as History. In Design Studios, the projects vary
widely in terms of scale and design brief, spanning from first year to final-year students. Across subjects, a diverse array of
skills is evident, including digital rendering, model making, handmade drafting, sketching, and composition of drawing sheets.

By Ms. Jasmin Kaur Ms. Jasmin Kaur conducted a workshop on Gouache Art,
delving into specific materials and construction techniques

workshop on Gauche Art. She gave involving the addition of a gum or opaque white pigment to

techniques of the art form. Gouache, creates a distinct layer or coating on the paper surface,
painting technique in which a gum or allowing colors to remain separate.

particles of pigment become enmeshed in the fiber of the
paper; in gouache the colour lies on the surface of the paper,
forming a continuous layer, or coating.
