Abstract :
Health Schemes are the terminology used and seen in all available advertising media, so
information about the health plan to the real beneficiary and using the schemes
appropriately can have a positive impact as a key component of the health scheme. This
gap can be addressed with scientific investigation.
The National Health Mission and all the concerned state Governments are making a lot of
efforts for the health status and well being of the population. Health schemes for all age
groups and coverage for all are the main motives behind executing any health scheme.
Expenses for healthcare services and hospitalization payments have been found to be
out-of-pocket expenses and a person suffering from such a condition cannot focus on
improving family welfare and quality of life.
This study takes measures to influence factors for awareness such as social health
orientation and family care orientation. The study also measures the relationship
between awareness and use and its effect on quality of life improvement. Data were
collected from 1295 respondents from Gujarat and Rajasthan. Multiple regression was
used to evaluate the results.
The study provides information to the health system and knowledge about the adoption
of the gradual heath scheme in both states. The study can help strategy and policy
makers to design a better health plan and execute it to achieve the Scheme's appropriate
impact.
