my days when I completed my graduation. It is very proud moment for the students,
parents and faculties who have all played their part in the end result.

I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ganpatbhai for Padmashree Award
and also for winning the honor from his alma mater as a Distinguishing Alumnus by
CAL POLY PAMONA. It is a matter of deep appreciation that looking at the
requirement of today’s employment world, Ganpat University is dedicated to
providing diligent, skilled and able manpower to global needs. To do this, Ganpat
University has signed MoUs with Cal Poly Pomona & also with Japan's Maruti
company to start Japan India Institute of Manufacturing at many places in India so
as to hone the skill of the youth of India. The only such institute in Gujarat has been
established at Ganpat University. Universities should share dialogues with the
government reflecting on issues like where and how the youth can be employed. I
am glad that you have understood the industrial developments taking place in the
state and the country under the visionary leadership of Ganpatbhai. It is gratifying to
know that this step, this beginning, this initiative by Ganpat University will surely act
as a trailblazer for other universities to follow. Through such training centers, this
university trains the students precisely the same way in which industries expect the
employees to be. It's a matter of pride for me to say that this university ensures the
students develop essential skills to meet industrial requirement. It is imperative, to
club education with employability and I congratulate Ganpat University
wholeheartedly for pioneering in this matter. I have perceived that many institutions
and universities around the world are located in remote areas but, they have risen as
foremost institution of the world through their vision and excellence. I can notice that
Ganpat University also has enormous abilities and potential to set many landmarks
in the near future. I strongly believe that such institutions lay foundation for the
development of the nation in general and the state in particular.

Secondly, the prestige of Ganpat University is growing higher and higher to touch the
peak of the highest academic excellence. India is becoming a startup hub.
Opportunity for growth is enormous, which we had never seen in our lifetime. I am
proud to say that Ganpat University has a Nodal Centre for Start Up initiatives and
many projects are in the embryo state here at present. I am sure it will contribute
substantially in the growth story of the country in the time to come.

I would like to congratulate Ganpat University for your vision and understanding of
future ahead to establish and improve collaboration between Industry and
Academia, happy to note that you have signed M.O.U. with C.I.I. Gujarat chapter to
fulfill this need. CII will co-operate and assist in the area of faculty development
program, student development program and developing industry responsive
curriculum through CII’s representation on University’s board of studies and of
