Ganpat University for winning the 2018 award for the noble placement activities by
Government of Gujarat. Congratulations to Ganpat University for being awarded the
best university by ASSOCHAM INDIA 2018, and also for being chosen as one of the
two best private universities of India in 2019. I know that Ganpat University has been
gaining more and more success since its inception in the year 2005. Ganpat
University’s reputation is steadily growing to touch the pinnacle of higher academic
excellence. I feel elated and feel a sense of personal pride in saying this. I am
satisfied and proud to see all these institutes of different disciplines amidst lush
green grove of trees. I really feel that I am fortunate to get the opportunity to help in
the progress of this philanthropic university. Both, you and I are well acquainted with
the name and fame of the university. I would like to mention the course of Marine
Engineering offered by GUNI. As the Minister of Shipping, it makes me proud that
GUNI is dedicated to produce skilled Marine Engineers. The marine engineering
courses run by you are becoming a milestone in this day and age. At this time when
marine field research is becoming extremely important for the development of our
economy, these courses hold great value for nation. For this, I thank this university
and especially Ganpatbhai and special congratulations to Dr. Sharma.

All of us know that our country has an almost 7517 kms long sea coast and more
than 200 ports. Our state Gujarat also has the longest sea coast of almost 1600 kms
and I personally believe that we will be able to provide ample opportunities to our
