The President of today's 13th convocation ceremony,
Honourable Shri Ganapatbhai Patel, President of Ganpat
University, in whose name the university has been established
and is becoming world famous, chief guest, Mr. Mahendrabhai
Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Mamata Group of
Companies, Special Guest Shri Rajubhai Shah, Chairman,
Harsha Engineering, Pro-Chancellor and Director General Shri
Mahendrabhai Sharma, the Board of Governors and Members
of Academic Councils, Deans of various institutes, invited
guests and scholars, professors and especially dear students
who will be conferred degree today and their proud parents, and
dignitaries from the media.

I am happy to say that this university is like my second home.
Whenever I come here, I feel like I have come to my own home.
Ganpatbhai's enthusiasm and vigour is especially admirable. It
is a matter of pride for all of us as well as for Gujarat and the
entire nation that he has been awarded the Padma Shri by His
Excellency the President of India for his outstanding and
unprecedented contribution in the field of education in the year
2019.

Mr. Ganpatbhai, born in a small village of North Gujarat got his
primary and secondary education in the same state. Later on,
he pursued higher education on foreign soil, America. With his
sharp business acumen, there he started a world-famous
