          new age.
The world today is becoming very harsh, and we are losing the essence of humanity. All
enterprises are for humans, so how can we turn away from the human element? As a student
of Sanskrit and history, I realised that no one has a history as ancient as India. The oldest
book in the world is ours; the first poem, “Valmiki Ramyan,” in the world is ours; and the
world's first anthropology is also ours. Manu is considered the first constitution-maker in the
world. We are first in both knowledge and science. We are also ahead in mathematics,
         astronomy, and philosophy.
But I realised that we had lost humanity in all its essence. All the emperors till today cannot
understand the meaning of DHARMA. The world has become selfish, and as Vyasji said,
DHARMA is “परोपकार: पु ाय पापाय परपीडनम”. Each emperor has always used religion for the
                                                ्
sake of expansion but does not understand the idea of discipline within the religion. If we
look at the three major religions in the world, we will realise that each emperor manipulates
the people by celebrating individualism, increasing the empire's ambition and rule by
dividing people. As our religion is ancient in all, we have more division in the name of
philosophy, where we accept all without attacking them, even the philosophy of atheists.
Other religions used force and violence for conversion, which cannot be found in Vaidik
         (Sanatan) dharma.
That’s why I decided to speak about Vaidik Dharma on such a profound occasion as I wrote
about it a long time ago. I feel this place is suitable to present my insights on the topic. In the
words of Panini, the reader is known as ADAM PATH, which means the one who gives
information through reading. Modern education is about correspondence, so it seems that if
you don't read, then you are not good because there is no power in memory today. This is the
drawback of the education system, as it does not rely on memory. According to Lord Krishna,
“न ो मोहः ृितल ा”, there is very much importance of memory. Lord Krisha also said that the
person who loses temper will lose memory as well; that is, from anger, delusion arises, and
from delusion, bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost,
and when intelligence is lost, one falls down again into the material pool.

                                      ोधा वित संमोह: संमोहा मृितिव म:।
                                     ृित ंशादबु नाशो बु नाशा ण ित॥
                                            ्
Modern education is more dependent on machine learning. The YANTRA-MANTRA-TANTRA
is part of our ancient philosophy, but naïve people think that this is part of worshipping God.
Yet I will follow the modern path and read my insights to you, which I have discovered about
the Vedic religion as a secular human religion.
There is mention of law, legislation, and duty for human society from the beginning of the
world. All the groups in the world have practiced what has been termed religion. Religion is
ा ः सुखाय and also beneficial to all. The world has given three main religions on the basis of
sect (स दाय). स दाय means following the tradition of one's guru from any sect. Vedic
religion, which is more popular than Sanatan Dharma and also includes Buddhism, Jainism,
and Sikhism, is the first major religion. Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism are considered to be
practices derived from the Vedas and Upanishad suktis. Christine and the Muslim religion are
the next two. Except Vedic religion, the other two depend on individualism. Vedic religion,

                                                                                          34
