Prof. M. S. Sharma Ji, the vice chancellor of this illustrious
university, As we say श -गुणकम आकाशम, my voice will also reach
beyond boundaries in respect to Ganpatbhai Patel sir, the Patron
in Chief of the university who joined us online today. Shri R.K.
Patel Sir, Shri Anand Patel ji, member of the Board of
Management, and all the revered guests in the audience.
I get a chance to come on the 13th founder’s day of this university,
and thirteen is considered the first stage of adolescence, in
which the body is filled with both vigour and energy. When I was
touring the campus, I saw these two things in students, along
with our ancient education tradition, Gurukul, the dense area
covered with trees, which can also be called Van, which is also
necessary in today's times as per environmental practice. All the
trees are full of fruits, especially amla; in Sanskrit, it is called धा ी
फल, which will always be beneficial for all. I am feeling extremely
happy to see such a fine campus, as everything is being done
towards innovation from the perspective of Indianness. As
Kalidas said,
पुराणिम ेव न साधु सव
न चाऽिप का ं नविम व म्।
स ः परी ा तरत् भज े
मूढ पर यनेयबु ः ॥

It is said that not all things are good just because they are old, nor
are they bad or inferior just because they are new. Wise people,
after testing their intellect, accept the best thing, and foolish
people decide whether it is acceptable or unacceptable after
being told by others. I feel that the patron in chief of this
university has found the perfect blend of the two perspectives
(Gurukul Tradition and Innovative Approach to Education) of
education before thirteen years ago. You are the guardian of the
33
