I have witnessed Ganpat University grow and flourish for a very long time. Ever since
the official beginning of my career in the year 1992 as an entrepreneur , I remained
fortunate enough to be in touch with the Nobel laureate from this campus ,the
visionary noble minds behind the present progressed status of Ganpat University. I
know that Ganpat University is at the top among some of the fast progressing
private universities in our country, and the same thing is a matter of my proud
privilege. The prestige of Ganpat University is growing higher and higher touching
the higher peaks of the highest academic excellence. I have been directly and
indirectly in continuous touch with the campus and the university officers. I have
seen different academic institutions and colleges lurking amid lush green trees. My
heart leaps-up upon seeing this and I am filled with the feelings of joy, pride and
utmost gratification. Let me release my heartfelt wish that I am looking for any
further opportunity to be fortunate enough to be helpful for the unstoppable
progress of this philanthropic university. You all and I both are well aware of the
name and fame of the university so I would not go deeper into that.
Let me brief a little about my work which I am representing in my firm less and more
for social cause as this university also believes in societal values.

Hailing from Dudhala village in Amreli district in Gujarat. At a very early age I left my
schooling and joined the diamond business at the age of 13 with my uncle. The time
passed and after all ups and downs, I started my own business and that was a risk
as I didn't have a single penny in my pocket, so all I had to do was take out a loan
and take a risk.This is how The Hari Krishna Exports started in 1991. I am very glad
to share with all you learned people that over 8000 employees are working under this
company with more than 1.5 billion turnover per annum which covers exports of
polished diamonds to 81 countries.

HKEPL is the only organization to receive the Excellence in Exports Award from
India's Gem and Jewellery Exports Promotion Council for 18 consecutive years. We
began to get involved in Social Work in 1996 by establishing 'Hari Krishna Charitable
Trust', now renamed 'Dholakia Foundation'. HKEPL embarked on a journey to serve
and protect Mother Earth and society by taking up numerous welfare activities and
feats. For our provision of distinguished service to this society, Government of India
has conferred with the most prestigious Padma Shri award to this noble foundation.
University believes that students first and character must by supporting this pious
vision of Padmashri Ganpatbhai Patel. As I put this concept in my entire life which is
reflected in a person's character in terms of humility, simplicity, kindness, purity, and
compassion, which makes him a gregarious person. By encapsulating all virtues
people coined my impression as a hidden treasure living in the diamond city of Surat.
