On this occasion I also cannot forget Late Shri Anilbhai Patel, eternally alive personality,
the man who devoted his life for the mission of this university. He was an outstanding
public servant who loved Gujarat. He contributed greatly towards the state’s growth as
a Minister, MLA, Industrialist and Educationalist. We will always remember him. Thanks
to visionary approach of Shri Ganpatbhai Patel Shri Anilbhai Patel and other Non-

Resident Indians and local donors. It was his far reaching vision and leadership
qualities that have in establishment of this great university. I am sure that Ganpatbhai
Patel, who is the acting President will fulfill the unfulfilled dreams of late Shri Anilbhai. It
is heartening to learn that Ganpatbhai has a strong desire to take this university to
newer heights. You are indeed very lucky that such a beautiful campus with the best

opportunities is available at your doorstep.
Let me conclude with my remarks that the greatest contribution you can ever give to
this university is by making yourself so successful and famous, that this university gets

recognized in the world through you and feels proud of you.
As you graduate and leave the university, I would like to wish each one of you a great
happiness and success in your professional career and life. You have a long journey

ahead. Remember that all of us have great expectations from you and the youth of
nation will have a lot to contribute in the national endeavor of rapid growth and
development. The goals pursued by you will have lasting impact in shaping the future of
this great country. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all those who
have won medals for their scholastic performance. All of us are proud of you. I extend
my heartiest congratulations to all the graduating students and convey my best wishes

for a highly successful and rewarding career.
