In our culture, we somehow always end up making others responsible for our lives.
“why did you choose engineering?” Because “papa ne bola”. There is a funny but
ironic story about an industrial plant which has a boiler. One day, there was an
accident, and the boiler burst with a bang. The plant engineer was questioned in
terms of what happened. His response was: “Sir, I left out boiler questions in the
option!” As you graduate and step out in the real world, you must take charge of your
life. As life and career progress, you will be called upon to make tough choices, tough
calls. As I said before, the world is going through disruptive changes. it is foolish to
think that your parents and your teachers have answers to everything. You are far
more mature, smarter and knowledgeable than the previous generation. What do
they know?!! So, don't blindly follow their advice. It is your life and you are the best
person who knows you! As Bhagvad Geeta says: “You are your best friend, and you
are your worst enemy”. So, look at yourself in the mirror with brutal honesty, know
your strengths and weaknesses and take ownership of your life in your own hands.
            2. You are Unique; So Please Don't Compare

For whatever reasons, we are always more worried about how others doing, what
others are saying. “how much marks you got?”, “what kind of job you got”, “what
salary, what increment?” And we get either happy or upset or jealous. There are 6
billion people in the world. No two human beings are alike. Each one of us is unique.
Each one of us has our own strengths, and our own weaknesses. If you wish to be
successful in life, stop comparing about others and worrying about how much your
classmates got and getting jealous, worried or competitive about your peers. You
should focus on yourself and what is it that you wish to achieve in your life.
            3. Think Big; Dream Big

Always cherish larger than life dreams. Have huge aspirations. Dream to be an
Ambani. Dream to be a Ganpatbhai. Dream to be a Narendra Modi. The universe
