Research Schemes Incentive Payment Policy

Scheme for Major Research Project Faculty members / employees are encouraged to apply
Objective for patents for their original contributions and inventions
To pursue and promote world-class research and training leading to newer products and technology to national

Studies (GUNI - CARS) 1. 100% patent filing / examination and prosecution fee
including Patent attorney charges (as prescribed) will
Eligibility be borne by the university.
All Constituent Institutions / Colleges of Ganpat
University 2. Rs. 50,000/- if the Patent is granted at international
level (Rs. 20,000/- on Patent publication).
Quantum of Financial Assistance
Upto Rs. 3 lakhs per project 3. Rs. 30,000/- if the Patent is granted at national level
(Rs. 10,000/- on Patent publication).
Duration 4. In the case when patent is commercialized, its
Upto 3 years revenue shall be shared among the inventors and
GUNI in the ratio 80:20.

Objective
To pursue and promote world-class research and training
at the frontiers of various areas like Engineering,
Pharmacy, Healthcare, agriculture, Management studies,
Computer Applications, Science, Social Sciences and
Humanities, Architecture Design and Planning and
Agriculture etc.
