          Abstract :
          This  thesis  investigates  the  complex  link  that  exists  between  Employee  Engagement,
          Empowerment,  and  Retention  at  Management  Institutes  of  Gujarat.  This  study  uses
          descriptive research to conduct a quantitative survey of faculty members in order to shed
          light  on  the  attitudes,  experiences,  and  results  related  to  Employee  Empowerment
          programs, Employee Engagement & its impact on Retention.

          The  findings  of  the  study  have  important  implications  for  both  research  and  practice.
          Through  clarifying  the  ways  in  which  Employee  Empowerment  Impacts  Employee
          Engagement  and  Retention,  this  study  adds  to  a  more  profound  comprehension  of
          organizational dynamics in higher education. Additionally, by emphasizing the role that
          Employee  Empowerment  plays  in  improving  organizational  effectiveness,  this  thesis
          provides practitioners, policymakers, and administrators with helpful suggestions on how
          to  promote  an  enrichment  and  empowerment  culture  in  Management  Institutes
          throughout Gujarat and beyond.

          Structure of thesis:

          1.  First chapter of the study is an overview and introduction of the research topic. In this
             chapter researcher has included background and need of the research, introduction to
             the  terms  “Employee  Engagement”,  “Employee  Empowerment”  and  “Retention”.  The
             chapter also discusses the scope and outline of the research.
          2.  Second chapter of the study provides reviewing of the available literature to identify
             the  research  gap.  The  review  of  literature  includes  following  aspects  1.  Study  on
             Employee Engagement; 2. Study on Employee Empowerment; 3. Study on Retention;
             4.  Study  on  relationships  between  “Employee  Engagement”,  “Employee
             Empowerment” and “Retention”.

          3.  Third chapter of the study is research methodology. It includes a research gap that
             discusses  why  the  present  study  is  required  to  explore,  objectives  of  the  study,
             proposed research model which shows the model under study and hypothesis of the
             study.  Sampling  technique,  population  for  the  present  study,  sampling  unit,  sample
             size, data collection sources, scope for the present study and data analysis method.
