In the proposed model, the researcher has attempted to overcome this problem and
suggest an architecture for irrigation scheduling that can be worked in this "Shared
Tubewell culture". The sensor-based technology is used to capture soil moisture data and
weather-based technology is used to capture rain prediction data. All the data is received
in the cloud to make irrigation scheduling. The system can work with minimal manual
intervention. A Tube well operator can manage a farm and its relevant sensors through
the Tubewell user interface and also receive irrigation scheduling data. A farmer can
receive his farm's irrigation scheduling data through a message on his mobile phone.
Maybe one innovative idea will become a win-win approach to shared Tubewell culture
and convert smart irrigation technologies to "general farmers" rather than constrained to
"gentlemen farmers".
